FPS - First person shooter

MMOs are often elements of mixed RPGs, creating the hybrid known as MMORPG, or Massively Multiplayer Online RPG.

This is where things can get a little difficult, as there are some key differences between MMORPG and MMO. The first thing to keep in mind is that all MMORPGs are MMOs, but not all MMOs are MMORPGs. RTS - Real-time strategy

These are similar to MOBA in that they follow a similar path but they also have some key differences. The goal in an RTS is also often to conquer an enemy through strategic maneuvers and warfare, but on a much larger scale - the maps can be huge. RTS is about building armies, maintaining an economy, and creating perfect defenses to protect your domain and against enemy troops. In real-time strategy games, individual characters don't play a big role, and you have to think much more in terms of armies, nations, and entire empires.
